We expect to run four biking events this year, an 80K race, a 40K race, a 30K rally (guided fun-ride), and the 30K cyclo race. The routes and distances will be posted once they have been verified. For the marathon, hosted by Hearts of Gold, there will be the 21K run, 21K wheel chair race, 10K and 5K runs as well as the 3K family run. Full details are available on their website.

We expect to open registration for both events shortly, but to keep up to date, check out this page, or join our group on Facebook, 2009 Village Focus Angkor Wat Bike Race and Rally

Since 2006 VFI has proudly hosted the Angkor Wat Bike Race and Rally at the magnificent Angkor Wat Temple Complex, a UNESCO World Heritage site in North-Western Cambodia. The course is a truly magnificent and unique one, taking riders past ancient temples, elephants, villages, monkeys and rice fields.

The event attracts participants of all nationalities from all parts of the globe who come to bike, have fun and raise funds for VFI projects in Cambodia. For more details of the work that we do, please check out our website, www.villagefocus.org.

We had 50 participants in our first year, 117 in our second and 175 in 2008. This year, we are hoping to attract 230 bikers from all over Asia and the world. In 2008, the marathon attracted over 2,500 runners.
