The Impact of LIFE’s coaching in activities of GIZ Laos in Houaphan province and Communal land use in Viengxai district, Houaphan province

LIFE and GIZ Laos in Houaphan have a long-term relationship on working together to support and strengthen the capacity building of government counterparts in the area of legal awareness on land rights and land conflict resolution. In 2020, LIFE developed a curriculum on communal land titling in cooperation with GIZ and DoL. The coaching provided by LIFE team helped staff from GIZ Laos’s government counterparts to work effectively in the raising awareness activity in village level especially on land laws and the community’s participation in the Participatory Land Use Planning and conflict resolution

Based on this, the LIFE team and GIZ Houaphan collected data on “The impact of LIFE coaching to GIZ Laos’s government counterparts and communal land use in in Viengxai District, Houaphan province”.
